The value of experience.
Since 2005, we have implemented and refined our culturally responsive programs on the ground in the Middle East and Africa. We have set focused goals, built effective partnerships, and produced results that continue to have impact on the lives of the thousands of care providers and families we served. Below are a few select examples of our work.
Female Training Program
Think Responsive created the Clinical Female Family Planning/Reproductive Health Training Program to increase female Afghan doctors’ and midwives’ knowledge of family-planning methods and clinical skills.
Male Training Program
To complement our women’s program, Think Responsive implemented the first family planning/reproductive health training program specifically designed for male doctors and nurses in Afghanistan.
ToT Male Program
Building on the success of our men’s program, we created a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) program to help the local government take ownership of family-planning initiatives without losing momentum.
Women’s Reproductive Health
In 2007, Think Responsive joined a humanitarian team to visit Sierra Leone, where we conducted an in-depth needs assessment of reproductive health services and made recommendations to the Ministry of Health.
